Contraception

When you are choosing the method of contraception that is right for you, it is important to have accurate information and talk to your doctor. Each form of contraception comes with need-to-know purposes, symptoms and side effects.

Choosing the right contraception for you

Things to consider when choosing a method of contraception:

02

Accessibility- How accessible is this product? Do you live rurally? Does your country offer this form of protection?

03

Cost- Can you afford this procedure or the ongoing costs of purchasing the items?

04

Medical- Does your body react to certain contraceptive methods? Family history of ineffective reactions?

05

Personal accountability- Some forms of contraception require daily or monthly consumption or injections. Will you remember to take to the pill correctly? Will you always have a condom on you?
